John Henry Breeze, Sixty yearn' of age, a painter by trade, was* found dead jn a. paddock at Ilillsboro, Oneliunga. fie retired to bed last night apparently \n good health and spirits. When found he was fully dressed, and had evidently expired. The cause of death is unknown. SHOT BY A STAUTIXO-tiUX. Wellington, Last Night. Antonio Brogitn, a married man, residing at Hoseneath, died to-day und-ar peculiarly sad circumstances. On anniversary day, January 22, Brogari was a spectator ut the local rrguttn, and whilo moving about Clyde (,Uniy lie got in front of a starting-gun as it was fired for a race. The wad from the l)lank cartridge entered Slogan's leg, indicting a nasty wound. This received medical attention, but next day the injury as--1 sumed a serious nature, and Brogan was removed from his home to the hospital, where blood-poisoning set in and death ; followed as stated.
