OBSTREPEROUS SEAMEN.

AUCKLAND'S LITTLE LIST. By- Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Saturday. During the week five seamen from the steamer Zealandie were sent tn gaol for absenting themselves without leave. Yesterday a seaman from the Ayrshire was sentenced to a month's hard labor for assaulting an officer. To-day seven more Ayrshire seamen were before the Court. At the conclusion of the assault ease they had gone aboard and demanded tint step* be taken to release the man just sentenced. They became so abusive that the police were sent for. Seven days' imprisonment was ordered, with tlii! instructions that the imen he returned to the ship at the expiration of the sentence.
