ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SHOT THROUGH THE BREAST. Pur Press Association. Aushburton, Thursday. Albeit Butteriek, aged 40, a, farmer at Lynford, near Hinds, was found dead in a paddock on his farm this mornin l " shot through the breast. He left home a short time' before being found: with the object of shooting hares. ( A CHILD SCALDED. Auckland, Thursday.Clifford Oldham, aged seven years died as the result of falling into a copper. The child's brother, hearing screams from the wash-house, found the child partly immersed in boiling water. He succumbed after three days from congestion of the lungs due to shock.
