Per Press Association. Hokitikn, Last Night. A representative deputation from Oreymouth arrived thin morning to present a requisition bearing several hundred names from the residents of the Greymouth electorate, asking Mr. H. L. Michel to allow himself f,o be nominated for the Grey sent in the interests of the Reform Government. Mr. Michel referred feelingly to tnu death of Sir Arthur Guinness, and recognising the compliment paid him, said that he had also received hundreds' of telegrams urging him to stand, but he felt he owed a duty to some three thousand electors of Westland who had loyally supported liim. Tie would, therefore, have to consult them before giving a decided answer, and after having a meeting of. his supporters he would reply in a day or two.'
