ARBITRATION COURT. AN APPEAL DISMISSED. Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, The Arbitration Court delivered judgment in a ease in which the City Corporation appealed against two convictions by Dr. McArthur, S.M., for breaches of the Tramways Employees Act in regard to the employees'at'the powerhouse. In dismissing the appeal, the Court held that through a fia.w in'the Arbitration Amendment Act, 1911, an appeal could not be made from the Magistrate's Court to the Supreme Court or Arbitration Court, unless the amount of the claim exceeded £SO, whereas in the present case it was only £lO. It was also claimed in respect of each breach, the Court added, that whereas the draftsman had intended to enlarge the rights of appeal, he had curtailed them,
