THE VEXED JUDGESHIP. */. " Per Press Association. Invcrcargill, Last Night. The Rand Contest Committee has received a telegram from the secretary of the .South Island Association that the Association could not alter its decision regarding the appointment of a judge. The vice-president of the Association (Mr. S; A. Staples) telegraphed that the hands Iwere notifying the Association that they would not compete if Mr. Percy (Tones (Gcelong) were appointed. The committee decided to adjourn till Tuesday, when a representative of the Association will be present.
