FLOATING WRECKAGE.
DANGER TO SHIPPL\G. Per Press Association: Wellington, Last Night. Captain Cameron, of the steamer Corinna,,reports that on Tuesday, while bound from 1 New Plymouth to Wellington, and when abreast of Cape Terawhiti, he sighted a large spar 15 to 28 inches in diameter, floating upright, about six feet showing above the water. The spar was right in the track of the smaller coastal vessels rounding the Cape.
