POACHING GAME. Per Press r ChristchuTctkv Last Night i ' This season is a closed one in Clutter* bury for imported and native game, and " :i five men were charged at the Police Court this morning with failing to pre- ' serve this protection by taking native game. The defendants were Davis Hunr, Walter H„ Overton, Arthur M, I<oasby, Percy C. Loasby, and Thomas Dav- . idson. The cases against Hunter Ad Overton were dismissed. The Bench inflicted a fine of £3 and costs on each of the other three defendants.
