THE NEW PLYMOUTH VISIT. An exceptionally large attendance of the Catering Committee for the battleship took place last night in 'the Town Hall, when arrangements for June, 17 were well advanced. The committee comprise the West End and Foreshore :■ Improvement Society, the East End Bathing Reserve Committee, and the Circular Road Race Committee, making in all nearly one hundred willing assist- ■ ants. Mr. F. C. Bellringer was in the , chair, and the allocations for the differ-" ent work were eagerly accepted. The ' managing of the primary work—the hot water, tea, milk, and sugar dispensing was given to Messrs. Dineen and Butfcir more. The lunch arrangements vein 4 left in the hands of Messrs. Gilbert, Flanagan, and Davy. The sports subcommittee is , Messrs. Eliot, Vinson, Milne, Mclsaac, Renner, Jones. The assistants for the day are Messrs. Austin, Hill (2), Evans,Olljver, McKay(2), Crone (2), Bell; Rampton (2) Cailaghan (2), Hooker (2); Dutton, Julian, Chong, Bond, Stroud, Allen, Stohr, Bennett, , Griffith, Lonergan, Hawkins, Montgomery, Paul, George, Nippert (4) Kivell, Smith, Tabor, Scrivener, Revell, Jenkins, Simpson, Bullot, Munro, Inch (3) Fitssimmons, ' Christensen, Feek, Ward,' Green, Box, Sadler (2). O'Kelly, Jonas, Burke, Beale, Mailam, Brookes, Russell. A team of donkeys will be at thfc disposal of the children during the day. ,
The Town Clerk (Mr. F. T. Bellringer) haS received v- telegram stating definitely that the Government steamer Tutanekei will be in New Plymouth to assiot in conveying visitors to and from the Battleship. The S.S. Rimu, Northern Steamship Company, will also be at Moturoa on that <tete.
