A NEW COMPANY REGISTERED. Per Press Association. Christchureh, Last Night. The International Petroleum and" Mineral Development Corporation was registered in Christchureh yesterday with a capital of £400,000. This is understood to be the largest oil proposition yet placed before the public of New Zealand. The corporation has acquired exclusive rights in perpetuity over areas in Taranaki aggregating seventeen square miles. These areas include several properties commented on by Mr. J. D. Henry, the English oil expert in liis work "Dominion Oilfields." The operations of the corporation will be under the supervision and control of Mr. P. A. Hadlev.
