FIRES.
HOUSE DESTROYED. Per Press Association. Napier, Last Night. A five-roomed house, with contents, in Onepoto Gully, occupied by George Wilson, and owned by Charles Grant, was totally destroyed by fire shortly before eight o'clock to-night. The fire was caused by a kerosene lamp falling on to the floor and exploding. The insurance on the building was £2OO and on the furniture £IOO. Both the owner and occupier are considerable losers.
