A ijirocession of Vehicles drove to the prison ;and escorted 'Kirkland to the Town' Hall, where a big meeting was held to celebrate his regaining his freedom. The speakers eulogised Kirkland's fearless action in attacking and bringing to the tar of public opinion the bureaucratic methods of the administration.
