A FATAL PALL. "__ : —». Per Press Association. ',,'., Dunedin, Saturday. George Sutherland, a farmer at Matawanui, was blown off a haystack yes* terday, and died to-day. FOUND DEAD. • Dunedin, Last Night, fleorge Allan, an insurance agent, was found dead to-day on the beach at St. Clair, high up among the lupins. He had apparently died on either Friday afternoon or Friday evening. He had beea j suffering for some time from Bright,'* disease and enlarged hiwt and liver, UNKNOWN MAN'S SUICIDE. Dunedin, Last Night. While rambling in the Bush Reserve at the rear of Port Chalmers cemetery • on Saturday, a lad named Peters discovered the body of a v.ian who had apparently committed suicide. A portion , of a pair of braces was round the man's neck, and the remaining portion was' tied to the branch of a tree about five feet from the grounds. The deceased was about sft. Sin. high, and, judging by the appearance of the body, had'been dead for six or eight months. The deceased was apparently about 55 years of age, but there is no clue to his identification. A pocket-book, Waltham watch,, and fid in cash were, :'ound in the deceased's pockets. SUDDEN D3ATH. Wellington, Last Night. % Mrs. Lilian Avon Pratt, aged 25, died suddenly at her residence in Kilbirnie..The deceased and her husband had been .' entertaining friends on Friday night. Mr. Piatt went out to see their' friends off by train and, as ho returned to the house, he heard his wife cry out. He ran in and his wife collapsed and died immediately. Heart failure is supposed to be the cause of her death.
