' New Zealand, resolved that a citizens' • hall be «iv<>n to the officers, and that the Oovcrnor and Countess of Liverpool be invited. A surest ion was made that the general entertainment be carried out on the lines of thai during tin- visit of the American fleet. An executive committee was appointed for that purpose, to include the Mayors and chairmen of local bodies.
