EG MONT VILLAGE ATHLETIC CLUB. The Egmont Village Athletic Club held a cycle road raci* nn Thursday afternoon, the course being from the Village to Inglewood and back, a distance of sixmiles. Eight competitors started and S. Beauchamp (New Plymouth) on the two minutes mark proved the wii:n<T, aUo put.ting up the fastest time ISniin. A. Mav (New Plymouth) on the same mark as the winner finished a very close second, while Swim Cimin). of Egmont Village, was third. There were several spills. THE ROEBUCK ("UP.
