Damage was done to the extent of £BOOO. A FATAL AVALANCHE. Christiana. March 14. An avalanche at Gudbrandshalcß overwhelmed three farms, killing liftecn, including live children. FATAL EARTH FALL. Received 15, 12.20 a.m. Sydney, March 14. Three men were killed by a fall of earth at Broken Hill North' mine. THE HARPER CASE. Melbourne. March 14. Mr. Justice Hodges, dealing with the Ronald Harper ca.'.e. said that he had come to the conclusion that the abuse of the Process Court would allow litigation to nroceed. He struck out the action with costs.
