THE CHRLSTCHURCII RECEPTION. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. At a representative meeting of citizens, arrangements for the entertainment of the officers and crew of 11.M.5. New Zealand were discussed, and a general committee and executive were appointed. A deputation was appointed to wait on tin; Prime Minister regarding excursion fares for school children desirous of visiting the warship. A school committee was set up to deal with the visit of the children to the ship. Details as to the form of entertainment of the officers and crew were referred to an executive committee, which is to report on Wednesday next.
