Tito Bank of Australasia. and Lovegrovt-V land ngoncy were almost destroyed. Herbert's bicycle shop and tint Te Arolia News office were badly da mag" I. The estimated loss is over ,£2(100. and (lie insurance covers about £IOOO. A TTOKITJKA BLAZE. Hokitika. Monday. A fire destroyed a large unoccupied building, formerly the Newcastle Hotel, at 1.30 o'clock this morning. The cause is unknown. It is understood that there were no insurances.
