Richard Henry Fail-brother . lost a three-roomed cottage valued at I £IOO, the cottage and contents being i insured in the State Office; (leorge Wal- | ler lost a three-roomed cottage, insured 'for £7.3 in the Xorwich Union; Donghi /Bros., a cow and trap sheds, the estimated loss being £IOO, insured in the Xorwich Union; John Sullivan, a stable and contents, insured for £tio in the Xorwich Union: Morris, a cowshed, insured for £.">o in the Xorwich Union. At Upper Piri Piri the settlers had a bad time. The following losses occurred there.: —O. and A. Wright lost a calfshed and a separator, and had their house damaged, which was covered in the State Office: J. Aylward lost his house and furniture: there was £45 on the house in the State Office and an additional £1)0 on the house with the Xorwich Union. £llO on the furniture and £OB on other buildings in the Xorwich Union. Inder and Fortune lost their houses, furniture and outbuildings, and a haystack, and also 20 head of cattle.
