With the approach of Taranaki's first Great Autumn Agricultural Show (which is likely to be the biggest in the reccfrds of the Society), a very large concourse of people will meet, and everyone will like to feel tidy and smartly dressed. The leading place we know of where this can be done without difficulty, and with the greatest economy is Ambury's everything ready-to-wear, well made', well flitting.
This morning, opposite Carnegie Library. King Street, Morev and Moore will commence their big half-yearly fair. Everything in the store will be reduced, and there will be hundreds of useful articles in their now famous 2s lid room.
White and Son have just landed their first consignment of stack canvas for the coming season. There is little need to elaborate upon its utility as a covering for stacks or machinery. Already hundreds of farmers have used it and speak well of it. Price Is Cy 2 d per yard for material 6ft. wide.
