Etienne. .Minister of War, declaring that no Minister could give an appointment to a man who, after reinstatement, insulted his superiors. His conduct would be visited with disciplinary measures. TROUBLE IN MOROCCO. Paris, February i. Marauders attacked a detachment of tirailleurs in the Adrar district. The latter offered an heroic resistance, but lost heavily, the killed including a lieutenant anil three non-commissioned officers. A column of irregulars is pursuing the marauders. A DRAMATIC TRIAL. Paris, February 2. A dramatic trial has just ended. Madame I-Ilerc, a boarding-school keeper at Sevres, promised two men, Mollet and Parratt, £l2O to murder her husband, and they did so. Her schoolboy son Rene gave evidence that he carried the men their money. Parratt's little daughter fainted twice and was unable to give evidence. Madame Clerc was sentenced to ten years' solitary confinement, Mollet to twelve years' imprisonment, and Parratt to ten years' imprisonment with hard labor .
