The Daily Telegraph says that Sir Percy Scott's baronetcy is regarded as confirmation of the report that the Admiralty has adopted hi-) fire director for the equipment of battleships and battlac misers. This will involve an outlay of at least £500,000. The exhaustive trial lias proved that the director increases the firing efficiency by 400 per cent.
