AN UNCHARTED ROCK.

THE YONGALA DISASTER. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received January 3, 11.15 p.m. Sydney. January 3. The Marine Court of Enquiry into the wreck of the Urilla in Whitsuntide Passage exonerated Captain James Gordon entirely. The commander of H.M.S. Sealark reported that the rock on which the Urilla struck was wrongly charted. The chart places the rock south of Ripple Rock, whereas it is considerably to the eastward. There is an opinion in some quarters that the Yongala disaster is attributable to this error.
