CRIME IN SYDNEY. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Received January 2, 9.50 p.m. Sydney, January 2. The branch of the New South Wales Government .Savings Bank at Pynnont was broken into. The branch consists of only one chamber, used for receiving deposits. No money was kept there, and the thief got only stamps valued at £3 Gs. three cheques not negotiable, and a revolver. .The tljeft was evidently the work of a. boy, froro the small prints of a bare foot and the primitive appliances left behind.
