1" rank Ryan, president of the Interational Structural Steel Workers' Union, was found guilty of using the union's' funds to destroy the property of contractors who refused to recognise the union.
.The wives of the men were in court and became hysterical at the verdict, and there were painful scenes. The Judge branded John Butler, vicepresident of the Ironworkers' Union, as a per jurer when he denied the evidence that M'Xamara drew £2OO a month as pay for dynamite outrages. An appeal has been lodged.
