'
A WAGES BOARD. London, December 29. The shipowners have definitely refused to discuss the proposal for a Wages Board. The Manchester operative cotton-spin-ners have decided to withdraw from the Brooklands agreement. The White Star Line has increased the wages of seamen and firemen at ►Southampton by 10s per month.
