HEAVY WEATHER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gishorne, Last Night. A heavy sea was running in the Iky ;il] day to-day. and the steamer Regains, which arrived' from West port, wu.mrable to make the Harbor, being comixiled to take shelter under Young X'iek's Head till the weather moderates. The Rosamond from Auckland, via Tolaga Ray, put back to Tolaga Bay, and is expected to come on when the weather •aim.? a Utile. The ferry steamer Takiipuna, which was timed to leave for \ T apicr at 7 p.m., was bailed up for tho drsfc time since the service was inaugurated, and is now timed to sail at 3 a.m., but it doubtful if she will get away even then.
