THE INEVITABLE PEA-RIFLE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. A lad named Harry Munrow, aged 14, met with a serious accident yesterday. He was engaged in cleaning a pea-rifle, not knowing it was loaded, and a cartridge exploded, the bullet entering his stomach. He was removed to a private hospital, but although the bullet lias not yet been located he is not considered to be in immediate danger. FOUND DROWNED. Nelson, Last Night. At the adjourned inquest touching the death of -Kaspar Anderson, a seaman on the scow Southern Isles, who was found drowned in the harbor on December 9, the Coroner returned a verdict that deceased was found drowned, therebeing no evidence to show how he got into the water. A CHILD'S DEATH. : Auckland, Monday. Margaret Hill, aged eight, was found dead in a gutter near her parents' residence at ißrkenhead.
