The Opposition urged that the courts were the proper tribunal. Lord TJr.k-arres contended that the law required revision. It was possible for a member of the House of Commons to supply the fiovehiment 'while holding the bulk of the shares in a company, though ai small partnership interest debarred a man from contracting.
