The Cricket Association has recommended the acceptance of the New Zealand Council's invitation to send a team to tour the Dominion in February and March, provided that the team consists of thirteen players and a manager, not twelve players, as New Zealand' suggested. BENEFIT TO TRUMPER. Received 20, 1 a.m. Sydney, November 19. The New South Wales Cricket Association is arranging a benefit match for' Trumper at the end of January New South Wales and the rest of Australia.. THE AUSTRALIAN VISITORS . By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Mr. A. A. George has received by cablethe following authentic list of players who will represent the South Melbourne Cricket Club in the tour of New Zenland, commencing next month:—-Trott, Giller, Scott, Kenny, McCormick, Kyle, Pentland, Purvis, Deas, Kelly, Sykes, Gray, and Baragwarath. Mr. George today received letters from Harry Trott,. captain of the team, and from W. McCormack, secretary of the club, regarding the personnel of the team. After dealing with the. strong points of each player Trott have a strong side to play in New Zealand. With myself the above make the eleven of our first eleven. ' The remaining places will probably be made up from our second elcvpn, so New Zealanders will be able to judge their form against our best club elevens. McCormack writes that the team will exceed all expectations. Faeey is the only absentee, but as he has already been seen in New Zealand his losr will not be felt so much. I can confidently assure you that such a side could not be got together in Victoria unless it were selected by the V.C.A. from all clubs."

Waitani will play High School to-mor-row afternoon, with the following eleven r —P. Skelton, Kershaw, James, Passau, Johns, Sommerville, JTawkinsy. W. Foreman, La Pouple, Hicks and Smaill. Emergency: McDonald. All players are requested to be on the ground at 2 p.m. sharp. They are also requested to provide a plate for afternoon tea.
