Interest centred chiefly in the match between Dunlop and Brookes and Wright and A. B. Jones. A Press Association message from Sydney states that the Victorian tennin championships have been postponed on account of rain. Tn place of the proposed match by a mixed team composed of Auckland and Taranaki players against the Englishmen at Auckland, it has now been decided by the New Zealand Association to hold a test match at Auckland on December 211 and 24, the team representing New Zealand to be selected .by the New Zealand Association's selector. WalDickie, and Nicholson have been nominated by (he Taranaki Association for selection in the New Zealand team.
