DASTARDLY PLOTS. By Cable— Association—Copyright. New York. November 17. At Indianopolis plot to murder a stenographer, Miss Dye, because she knew of the dynamite plans, was revealed by witnesses at the dynamite investigation. A friend of McNamara swore that James incited him to place dynamite under the stenographer's seat, when travelling in the train. The friend refused. Miss Dye revealed the conspiracy afterwards to the authorities.
Ten Californian witnesses described the origin of the plot to blow up the Los Angeles Times, and the methods taken to secure appearance of a gas explosion.
