The time for spraying fruit trees has come, and this very essential work to be of value must have prompt attention. The first spraying should be made when the blossoms fall, a gecond some seven to ten days after, and a third thirtydays later. A prime factor in successful spraying is a good spray pump. The Myers' Spray Pump, which the makers claim to be the "Best Pump on Earth," forms the subject matter of Messrs. Bellringer Brothers', Limited, advertisement this week.

A further drop in the price of kerosene and sugar is announced, by Messrs. Masters and Son, Stratford, whose prices arc about the lowest in Taranaki. Such standard household lines as flour, kerosene, sugar, and oatmeal are big items in the household supplies. Comparison of prices with those charged elsewhere is easy; and Messrs. Masters and Son invite the comparison.

The Melbourne announces the arrival of another shipment of their famous grey herringbone and twill sheetings, 72 inches wide at Is per yard.
