FURTHER CONCESSIONS POSSIBLE By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 30, 11.30 p.m.

London, October 30.

In the House of Commons Mr. W. Redmond suggested that the deferred cable nystem between England and Australia should be extended to provide for ten "words for five shillings, carrying the delay from 48 to 02 hours or longer. Mr. H. Samuel, Postmaster-General, replied that the negotiations which had been proceeding with the Cable Board and the Cable Companies were now nearly completed and he hoped that a cheaper system for weekend messages would be introduced, though it was impossible to fix the charge as low as Mr. Redmond suggested.
