MINING DISASTER
THREE MEN KILLED. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Received 31, 1 a.m. Sydney, October 30. Four men wore engaged in timbering at the 500 ft. level in. the Broken Hill Proprietary Mine, when the filling collapsed. Three of the men—Hevdon, Fraser and Martin—were buried, and the fourth was injured. The work of recovering the bodies (which is dangerous) is proceeding.
