BILLIARD SALOON -BURNT. *7 Telegraph—Press Association. Eltham, Saturday. A fire occurred in a billiard saloon owned by F. Bischoff, Hawera, and occupied by Wadham, at an early hour this morning. Owing to the prompt attendance of the Fire Brigade, only slight damage at the rear of the building was done. The high wind which had been prevailing fortunately dropped. The insurances on the building are £350 in the New Zealand Office, and on the contents £l6O in the Royal Exchange and £2OO in the Guardian Fire Office. If your property is not insured, call at or ring up the United Insurance Company, Ltd., Dovon street; telephone 198. Webster Bros., district agents. Insurance effected on the most favorable terms.—Advt.
