GOVERNMENT HOUSE AND THE KING. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright.. .Received 18, 10.15 p.m. Sydney, October 18. Mr. Paxton, the Chamber of Commerce delegate to the London Convention, has returned. He had nn interview with the King, who expressed regret at Lord Denman's eviction, and asKcd where the Governor-General was to reside, adding that it was quite clear that he could not live at an hotel. Mr. Paxton stated that the King's manner showed that the matter was near his heart.
