La Liberte states that the establishment of peace between Italy and Turkey is largely due to Sir Edward Grey, who advised Turkey to come to terms several days ago. On Tuesday, the Italian Ambassador informed Sir Edward Grey that unless Turkish procrastination ended, Italy would commence hostilities in the Aegean Sea, whereupon Sir Edward Grey informed the Porte The latter then accepted the terms of peace. ARAB AUTONOMY. Rome, October 1/. The Sultan has issued a firman granting autonomy to the Arabs of Tripoli and Oyrenaica.
