MOKAU ENQUIRY.
INQUIRY ADJOURNED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Friday. The Parliamentary .Cdrnmittee enquired further into the Mokau case to-day. The petitioner, Joshua Jones, said that the Government could take the property over, and arrange with him as to compensation. Mr. Statham interjected that they could not get the property now for £15,000. Jones said that he told the Government in 1010 t/hat the property could be bought for £15,000. This concluded the examination of Jones. The proceedings have been adjourned.
