The Government is alarmed at the situation at Vera, Cruz, and has ordered the cruiser Desmoines there to protect Americans. Bluejackets will be landed if necessary. All the revolutionary elements are "joining in the overthrow of the Madero Government. The rebel capture of Vera Cruz is part of a greater plan against the Government.
