The Labor Party declined the request of adherents of the women's suffrage movement to vote against the Franchise Bill, and decided to press women's suffrage. ALBERT HALL DEMONSTRATION. A POLICY oFviOLENCE. Received 18, 9.30 p.m. London. October 18. At the Women's Political Union demonstration in the Albert Hall three hundred women who had suffered imprisonment, attired in white, occupied the platform. Over three thousand subscriptions have been received. Mrs. lankhurst advocated the wholesale destruc tion of property as women's most effective weapon.
