WORK AND WAGES.
THE HUNTLY STRIKE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The position regarding the partial strike of general laborers is unchanged'. The pickets are thoroughly disheartened and did not visit the worker's ta-day. Many of the men are tired of idleness, and are seeking work. At Huntly the mine whistles blew this morning, but there was no response by, the miners. Many men are leaving lluntly and seeking work elsewhere.
