SUPREME COURT.

WELLINGTON SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Wednesday. Four prisoners- were sentenced by the Chief Justice to-day. Clarence Percival Wells, a young man who had admitted charges of theft and breaking and entering at Foxton, was ordered to be sent to Invereargill for reformative treatment for twelve months. Ralph Baloombe on a charge of breaking and entering and theft was similarly dealt with. For theft from the person at Masterton, George Alfred Smyth was sentenced to a month's imprisonment with hard labour. Charles Clement Fish, formerly messenger in the Parliament Buildings, was sentenced to eight months' imprisonment, on charges of theft.
