CANADA'S NAVY.
AN EMERGENCY AMOUNT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Ottawa, October 1. It is practically certain that Canada will contribute an emergency amount to the British naval fund, withholding fixing its general policy till the next session of Parliament.
LOCAL NAVAL CONTROL. Received 3, 12.45 a.m. London, October 2. The Times' Toronto correspondent says that there are increasing signs that the Opposition will insist that the navy must be unequivocally under the control of the Canadian Parliament.
