A GERMAN PROTEST. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Berlin, September 30. Herr Liebkneeht, who was heading a procession of 2000 persons through Ilasenherde, as a protest against dear meat, was arrested for refusing to cause them to disperse. He was afterwards released.
The agrarian organs loudly protest at the new concession with regard to frozen meat.
The Bill enables local authorities to import frozen mutton as well as fresh meat, but frozen beef is excluded.
