FIGHTING IN MONGOLIA. Pekin, October 1. The Mongols, after losing 377 killed in the recent engagement, have been reconciled to tlie Chinese. A conference has been arranged for September 0 to pledge the adhesion of Eastern Mongolia to the Republic.
TURBULENT TIBET. Shanghai, October I. Newspaper advices state that the Tibetans ambushed two thousand Chinese under General Chu, a day's march from Litang. A relief force liaa been despatched.
