The Mexican rebels have cut all traffic communication between Naco, Cananea and Sonora, where five 'hundred Americans reside. A train has arrived at Naco with 500 rifles and 150.000 rounds of ammunition from the United States Government. The Mexicans derailed the engine and prevented the arms reaching Cananea. They allowed the coac'h to "coast" back to the States, carrying the passengers. Six bridges were burnt. The Americans are in danger, and the Mexican threats of an attack on Cananea are take'-i seriously.
