SUPREME COURT.
HAMILTON SESSIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hamilton, Last Night. At the Supreme Court, Victor Cornelius Nareby, for theft of moneys, was acquitted, the jury adding a rider that accused left the Court without a stain on his character. Kenneth Moore, charged with the manslaughter of a Maori in a prize fight, was found not guilty and was discharged. NEW PLYMOUTH SESSIONS. The calendar of the next Supreme Court sessions of the Taranaki judicial district, which will open at New Plymouth next Tuesday before Mr. Justice Edwards, is a very light one, there being no criminal cases set down for trial. The business comprises:— CIVIL CASES. James GeoTge Johnson v. Henry Weston, for alleged libel, claiming" £3OO damages. Curtis Brothers v. James Hawkins, claim £243 13s, principal and interest, alleged to be due on a promissory note. James Hay ward v. Albert 'Edward Hay ward, a, claim for £425 15s 4d for moneys alleged to 'have been advanced in connection with a milking agreement, and for losses and damages through an alleged breach of same. IN BANCO. Amelia Ray v. executors and trustees of the will of Elizabeth de la Roche (deceased) for the interpretation of a will. A ease will also lie heard under the Law Practitioners Act. and several motions for discharges under the Bankruptcy Act.
