Florence Paler, the survivor of the Eastbourne tragedy, in a statement, said that she went to live with Money four years ago. and they subsequently went through the Scotch marriage ceremony. Money met her sister Edith in 1910, and Florence threatened to leave him on learning that he had married Edith. Money dissuaded her by promising not see Edith again. She graphically described seeing her murdered children in flames.
