TWO MAORIS ARRESTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. , . Dannevirke, Last Night. ■Tvfo : Maoris, named Huake Hohcpa and Reuben Puha, were arrested at Rakautahi by Constable McLeod at dawn on. Sunday, on charges of sheepstealing. The scene of the depredations is in a lonely part of the gorge of the Makar ; etu river, and some interesting facts are- likely to be disclosed. Accpsed appeared before the Court at Ormondyilfe- on Monday, and -were remanded till September 2, bail'. being grafted; in £SO and one surety of £SO e'ayb,.' ■ ' .
